Đầm Trầu — Côn Đảo
A sandy bay close to Côn Sơn airport, with greenery and rocks at its edges. It is a different beach experience from Đất Dốc or the town waterfront; remain at the beach and respect airport boundaries.

Getting there
After reaching Côn Sơn, travel to Đầm Trầu by road. Arrange a local ride and confirm the return journey; the airport is not a public walking route to the beach.
Swimming & sea
Assess waves in the bay and avoid rocky ends. Popularity as an airport-side photography spot is not an indication of safe swimming water.
Facilities & atmosphere
Local beach and food services may be available; ask what is open on the day and carry drinking water.
When to go?
Vietnam Tourism highlights March–September for marine activities around Côn Đảo. That overlaps the wet season, so consider rain as well as wind and waves. Do not use Phú Quốc’s climate figures for this island.
