Đất Dốc — Côn Đảo
Đất Dốc is a specific beach on the main island Côn Sơn, not a name for all Côn Đảo beaches. A green hillside and resort setting distinguish this bay from the beach beside the town centre.
Getting there
First reach Côn Sơn by an available flight or ferry, then continue by road. Ask about the accessible beach entrance beforehand; resort facilities are not automatically available to day visitors.
Swimming & sea
Check the swell on this side of the island and follow local restrictions. Do not use a rocky alternative if the intended swimming area is unsuitable.
Facilities & atmosphere
Property-based facilities; establish food, drinking water and access arrangements before planning a day visit.
When to go?
Vietnam Tourism highlights March–September for marine activities around Côn Đảo. Some of that falls in the wet season: calmer seas do not necessarily mean low rainfall. Phú Quốc’s climate figures do not describe this island.

A coastline north of Hồ Tràm where sand, dunes and greenery meet. Hồ Cốc is an alternative to Vũng Tàu’s promenade, though separate access points have different characters.
