Quy Nhơn
The urban beach follows Quy Nhơn’s bay and promenade. It is separate from the more distant Kỳ Co bay and Bãi Xép village; choose it to combine the sea with city life.
Getting there
The promenade is easy to reach from the centre. Use a public crossing and beach entrance along the coastal road.
Swimming & sea
Look for locally marked swimming areas and lifeguard guidance, but do not treat crowds as proof of safety. Keep clear of boats.
Facilities & atmosphere
City restaurants, hotels and shops behind the promenade; do not leave valuables unattended while swimming.
When to go?
The first half of the year is a practical planning choice; the heaviest rain on this coast often comes later in the year. Nha Trang station is a regional reference, not a measurement on this beach.

Nhơn Lý, near Quy Nhơn
A sandy bay on the outer side of the peninsula near Nhơn Lý, framed by rocky slopes. Kỳ Co is often visited on an excursion; it is not a beach within walking distance of central Quy Nhơn.
Bãi Xép — Phú Yên
An Chấn, north of Tuy Hòa (Phú Yên area)
A small sandy bay near An Chấn, known for the contrast between the sea, dark rocks and the grassy headland at Gành Ông. This is the film location in the Phú Yên area, not the beach village of the same name near Quy Nhơn. A visit combines the headland view with the beach below.
Đại Lãnh
Northern Khánh Hòa
A broad bay between hills on the northern Khánh Hòa coast. Its proximity to the main route makes Đại Lãnh a possible coastal stop between Nha Trang and the Tuy Hòa area.
