Getting there
First reach Cát Bà, then travel from town to the beach area. Local authorities adjust traffic on the access road, so check the current arrangement and walk the final section where required.

Facilities & atmosphere
Town and resort services nearby; ask separately which beach facilities day visitors may use.
When to go?
April, May and October are an editorial selection for beach visits. Winter can be cool; storms in the warmer wet season can disrupt boats. Hanoi is only a regional climate reference.
